Teaching Artist Institute

Teaching artistry is a dynamic and rewarding profession that bridges the worlds of art and education.

It empowers artists to share their passion, creativity, and expertise with students of all ages. Artists of any kind—painters, dancers, musicians, actors—can transform lives and foster a love for the arts through teaching.

Facilitator Kevin Dodd will expand on the 2024 Institute with sessions for newcomers and vets alike. Topics will include lesson planning and curriculum design, classroom management, building your brand, and more.

Join us and connect with a diverse community of emerging and established teaching artists. Build lasting relationships with your peers, mentors, and potential collaborators in the vibrant world of arts education. You'll have the opportunity to design unique and engaging lessons that ignite the imaginations of your students.
