The annual Honors Concert will feature top MSU student musicians performing a variety of concertos with the Symphony Orchestra. Octavio Más-Arocas and Asieh Mahyar, conductors.
The program includes Fanfare of Honors by Eric Saroian (world premiere, part of the Sam and Mary Austin New Fanfare Project), Largo al factotum from Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini, Viola Concerto by William Walton, Dream Wanderer by Tylor Mazone, and Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber by Paul Hindemith.
