Shakespeare Immersion Project Recital
Shakespeare Immersion Project Recital
Wharton Center’s Shakespeare Immersion Project provides Michigan students the rare opportunity to work with professionals from the renowned Stratford Festival for an entire week. With the help of the Stratford actors/teaching artists, this annual program focuses on text analysis, language exploration, character development with a variety of theatre activities and movement exercises. Through reflective writing exercises, students gain an in-depth educational experience. Their work culminates in a performance of an abridged version of Hamlet on Wharton Center’s Pasant Theatre stage.
