Truth & Reconciliation: Healing Wounds
Activist and educator Nontombi Naomi Tutu is an activist, educator and inspiring speaker, blending passion with humor, joy and personal stories. Ms. Tutu, daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Nomaliza Leah Tutu, will speak about how we can heal as individuals and as a society. Whether in personal life or in society, wounds block our ability to be the gifts we’re meant to be in the world. However, it takes courage and the willingness to speak and hear the truth. That first step is so often the hardest, but what comes after is healing and wholeness. Presented in conjunction with MSU’s Year of Global Africa.
The World View Lecture Series is made possible in part by the MSU Office of the President. This presentation is generously supported by the Broad College of Business; Honors College; Residential College in the Arts and Humanities; University Outreach and Engagement; and MSU Year of Global Africa.
