Inherit the Wind
Inherit the Wind
By Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee
Directed by Rob Roznowski
This lively courtroom drama is a fictionalized account of the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial, where a Tennessee teacher was convicted for teaching Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution in a high school science class. As the trial unfolds, the courtroom becomes the stage for ideological conflict and debate about the fine line between church and state.
