Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater (SPDT) is a nationally recognized company which has been presented at The Kennedy Center, Central Park’s SummerStage, Jacob’s Pillow, the Guthrie Theater, and elsewhere around the globe. As part of SPDT’s 35th Anniversary Season, the company will perform a program of politically and socially relevant repertory from the company’s 35 year history, including "Ways to Behold", 2008 SAGE Award Winner for Outstanding Choreography. Known for its compelling, poignant performances, SPDT has been recognized by the NEA for “Best Practices” in the field of Arts and Healthcare, and since 2010 has been a regular presence in the MSUFCU Institute for Arts & Creativity at Wharton Center in collaboration with MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
