The evening's free events will consist of national and local speakers, performers and poets. In the lobby on display will be featured Grant Funded Projects by Michigan based artists, faculty, and organizations.
Nathan Triplett, Mayor of East Lansing, will be our Master of Ceremonies and will share the stage with:

The Lansing Art Gallery will also feature Michigan artists and have their work on display in the lobby.
The Michigan State University Museum is hosting a companion exhibition featuring the seven Michigan recipients of the National Endowment for the Arts’ National Heritage Fellowship awards.
Coordinated by the MSU College of Arts and Letters, the Cultural Engagement Council/MSU University Outreach and Engagement, Michigan Humanities Council, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, Creative Many Michigan, Detroit Public TV, Wharton Center for Performing Arts, and Michigan State University Museum's Michigan Traditional Arts Program.
