ELISABETH L. ROSENTHAL
Elisabeth L. Rosenthal, author of the awardwinning New York Times series on health care costs, Paying Till It Hurts, is a journalist who originally trained as a medical doctor. During her 20 years with the Times she has received awards including, (among others), the Association of Health Care Journalists’ 2014 beat reporting prize, the 2014 Victor Cohn Prize from the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing, the 2014 Online News Association’s topical reporting prize and the Asia Society’s Osborn Elliott prize. A frequent guest on NPR and MSNBC, Ms. Rosenthal will speak about the future of healthcare in America.
