"Bohemia is Dead." Rent, the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Jonathan Larson, examines diverse denizens of Lower East Side Manhattan as they struggle to make the rent, find love, and cope with HIV. This iconic musical has become a modern day classic with its compelling score and tragically human characters. Rent was originally produced in New York by New York Theatre Workshop and on Broadway by Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum, Allan S. Gordon and New York Theatre Workshop. Rent is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. Designer pre-show talk Sunday, April 25, 2010 @ 1:15 pm. Talk back on Thursday, April 22, 2010 following the performance.
