Izzo Goes To Broadway celebrates the “winning spirit” with an evening of song, dance and inspiration featuring the consummate showman, Coach Tom Izzo, along with performers direct from the bright lights of Broadway, and loads of special guests. Coach Izzo shows he's got what it takes for basketball AND Broadway with this family-friendly evening for anyone who has ever put it all on the line to go all the way and make their dream come true. Written and directed by East Lansing native Greg Ganakas (son of former Spartan basketball coach Gus Ganakas) and produced by Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Izzo Goes To Broadway blends the prowess of athletics with the passion of the arts. This evening of entertainment and inspiration will benefit the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society through Tom and Lupe Izzo’s efforts with the Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer program.
